You will learn:
Comparative Measuring – how to accurately measure proportions and relationships between objects
Tonal Shading – using light and dark values to create depth and form
- Bargue Plate: Using the academic drawing approach, students will replicate a classical drawing from the Bargue Drawing Course, focusing on precise proportions and detailed rendering.
- Still Life on Toned Paper: Students will create a still life composition on toned paper, using shading techniques to build form and depth while working directly from life.
