Buddy Odom watched his wife Kathie paint for seventeen years before he picked up a brush of his own. In his first year painting he took an award in the Quick Draw at the Oil Painters of America National Show. He calls himself a custodian of beauty who writes, pastors, and encourages others to create, and says simply, "I only paint what I love." The Mission of Joy at Hindes Fine Art is his first gallery exhibition.
